Dirty 30

OMG, Bree! We made it! We persevered, we loved, we laughed, and we cried (a lot!) to make it another year. I don’t want to call it a chapter because chapters occur more often than we think. When we have a shift in our lives, such as a new relationship, a new career, a change in our thinking and beliefs, those moments mark a new chapter. Girl, I think we are Chapter 100 by now!

We have crossed paths with many. Some stuck around, and others were only here for a season, but each person and experience helped us learn and better each other.

I am so proud of what you have accomplished. I’m talking more about the things that people don’t know about — the growth you have made to become such a strong and powerful woman. The maturity and balanced you have gained. The love you have built for others so everyone can be the best they can be.

I am proud of the accomplishments in your career and life, too. Not to gloat, but many cannot say they are where you are. Of course, you have goals beyond this point, but looking around, you got it going on, girl!

You are so eager to look into the future. I know you already have a list of Things-To-Do for the next couple of weeks. But today, take the time out to live in the present. Make a memory. Stamp a mark on this day that you can look back on and smile.

Happy Dirty 30, Mama! I love you and am looking forward to the next 30 to come!
